I've always loved fantasy fiction ranging from Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland" to J.R.R. Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings". I enjoy Irish folklore, full of fairies and "the little people" and the works of James Christensen. All of this is evident in the dolls that come from my imagination and from time to time these images make their way into my quilts.
