Most of my work is representational but sometimes I am inspired simply by the interplay of color and shape. Organic shapes that occur in my hand-dyed and screen printed fabrics often evoke images of water, earth and sky. I'm intrigued with the perspective in the images taken by satellites of earth's varied land and seascapes.
